Making a park Pop, visible and accessible

project overview
This project reimagines Villa Angeletti Park, an undervalued green space located behind Bologna’s main train station, by making its function, access, and historical value visible to the city. The park’s industrial heritage is now largely forgotten and physically hidden. Through urban research and inclusive design principles, the project delivers a cohesive system of visual identity, wayfinding, and spatial communication. A landmark marks the park entrance and clarifies its public role, while a wayfinding system that plays with empty and full space frames views of the landscape through the Inquadro campaign, revealing fragments of its history. Supporting materials connect the park to key city nodes and encourage everyday use. The outcome positions Villa Angeletti as a legible, welcoming place for wellbeing, nature, and community within the urban fabric.
